We had an awesome day with the kids yesterday! When we arrived to the home, the kids were lined up waiting for us. The honored us by putting these huge beautiful necklaces on us and then threw rose petals at us! It was amazing! All the love they have for us! We had a great church service and kids gave their testimonies. They were so moving!! It is awesome to see how God is working in their lives!! Then they performed dances for us which was SO much FUN! They started with some indian dances and then a group came out and started the macarana!! We all joined in and it was great!! The kids loved to see us dance with them! In the afternoon, they performed some really funny skits for us. Then we got to pray over them and they prayed over us! That was so awesome and moving! Bishop John and his wife took us out to a great Indian restaurant. We had the best Indian food we've tasted yet! Thinking of everyone at home, God's blessings!

Dear India Team~ We love to hear of your great adventures! We pray you finally have luggage and could change clothes! What an awesome experience to share your love of Jesus to all the children but also that they can show you their love for Jesus. There's a universal language when you know Christ! Stay healthy and we pray each and every day you're in India is a blessing!
Love, The Lanes
Katie- we got your message and Matt said he talked to you. We love you and pray it's an awesome experience!

Hey All Your Sweet Smelling Missionaries, Paul Muther and I are here checking in on your mission trip. Thank you for the updates. It was a very busy weekend with Pastor Cal and Karen's retirement celebration. Thanks Audrey for writing to Jim. He was kind enough to share it with me and I with well... everyone. The congregation was moved to hear of your wonderful journey. From Paul... Go you CU Dubbers! Represent in India! It's amazing what God has already done through y'all down there and what He is working in you right now. Be like Samuel to these kids and anoint them to be strong in the Lord - "Samuel took the horn of oil anointed him and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came upon David in power."

God's blessings to all of you. We are sitting in the office this morning with clean clothes and just thinking about you. We had a little snow last night and it's about 38 degrees. Just wanted to say we are thinking and praying for you. Take Care

Greetings India Missions Team, It's been so great to read the updates about the mission and the children. Keep them coming, they fuel so many people in prayer for you. A short email from Audrey was read in church yesterday. The entire church heard about how awesome the kids are and of course that you don't have any change of clothes. (You should have heard the gasps! It reminded me of the Mexico Mission Challenge, Alan can fill you in) Anyway, the whole church has you on there hearts and the worship teams have been lifting you up in prayer every time we gather. Mel and I pray for you throughout the entire day and even after I’m done typing I’m going to get on my knees and pray for you and the children. Thank you team, you're very inspiring. Keep sharing God's saving grace with those children!

Hi dear friends: The moment I heard about your lost luggage and the fact that you have been wearing the same clothes, I thought of the passage in 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 which reads, "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. (your smelling better with each verse!) For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life." So now you smell simply wonderful to all those people whose lives you touch or come close to. I love your story about the kids meeting you and dancing with you. I can just see Norm and Alan dancing. And Audrey getting locked in a room? Why am I not surprised?! Thanks for the update and for sharing. I continue to pray for you everytime I think of you which is often. You have blessed us with your joyful news! May God continue to keep you in His care and give you many opportunities for you to share His story, John 3:16. Love you all Kathi

Reading your comments brings back so many wonderful memories of my trip to India in May. I warned some of you that the kids would blow you away with their perspective on life. They have it right-all praise and Glory to our Savior Jesus Christ. Don't worry about the suitcases-clean clothes are over-rated. May the Lord continue to work through you and around you. Blessings to all of you. Give the kids a hug from me.

Joy and peace to you, the India Team! I am enjoying reading your postings. I rejoice in those goosebump experiences with you...99% so excited for you and, of course, that 1% jealousy that I can't seem to get rid of! The kids and faculty at Living Word are getting ready for mid-term exams starting on Wednesday and reviewing and studying like crazy. Tomorrow, the Spanish classes will have to make room for an India update, however, and you, those precious kids, and their domestic helpers and teachers will be in our prayers! May God continue to bless you with those goosebump moments that will sustain you through the sleep-deprived days! Love and blessings, Kate Yahr

Hey India Team, Hannah told the cashier at Pick and Save that her Daddy was in India telling people about Jesus. The lady stopped and said, "He is telling people about Jesus?" Hannah said, "Yes, lots of children over there need to hear about Jesus and how much He loves them." The lady said she too will begin praying for the India Team and the children in India. God is good!

Hi Angie and all the India team. We continue to pray for your work. I hope that your weather is better then here in Wisconsin. We finally got back to cold temperatures, with the temps in the teens and wind chills near zero. We are trying to scare up a little snow by the time you get back, but so far no luck. We'll keep trying.

Hi India Mission Team! Just thinking about you and daily lifting you all in prayer. Has your luggage arrived? Just to let you know, Cal and Karen's retirement dinner and reception were just fantastic. They were so humbled by the whole weekend and it was just so great to honor them like this. Also, Betty M. is finally in the presence of her Savior! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! We all send our love. Kathi

Hey there you ambassadors of Christ! I have a verse for your team. I imagine that fatigue and challenges have continued as God stretches everyone’s faith and relationship, so I read this and thought of you all. Hosea 6:1-2 "Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence." I'm so glad that he's always in control and guiding you. Always in prayer for you. Doug and Mel Raddemann

Helllo to all of the India team! Brrr...it is cold in Wisconsin! We read your messages and we are warmed inside. A big smile comes to our faces. We feel the joy that you are sharing. We think and pray for you often. Savannah had us each choose a part from the bible and sit on the prayer rug last night. We all lifted you up in prayer and are thankful that you are sharing God's word with the people you meet. Cannot wait to hear what God will do today. Time for me to go to bed! (You know me, it is only 8:50 but I am pooped). Love, Deb, KC and the girls

hey guys, I have a few verses for you. I found these when I was flipping through the Bible on tuesday.
Romans 12:10-13 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual ferver, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need, practie hospitality.
matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
I thought that these could be of help to you. I'm thinking and praying for you!! i'm reallly happy to hear that you are all doing well and are healthy!! God's blessings Dana
