Update on Lost Luggage
By stjohnsadmin @ 3:28 PM :: 543 Views :: 3 Comments :: :: India Mission Trip

I just got off the phone with Rene' Lull. She talked very briefly with Alan yesterday. Here is the latest news:
Everyone has their luggage including all of the other things they shipped. Some arrived on Sunday, the rest on Monday.
Yesterday the team left for Kodai to visit the special needs Orphanage.
Everyone is healthy!
That's it.

Hi Angie and all the mission group - It's great to hear that you have your luggage! Four days without clean clothes is a long time, even for college students. The children you deal with should appreciate the gifts you have in your luggage, as well as the cleaner Wisconsinites. Our prayers are with you in your work and for a safe return in a few days.

Hey there from India,
the computer is finally up and running! We are just hours away from leaving for the airport to be gin our journey home! Our travels will be taking us on a 10 hour flight to London Heathrow and a 9 hour flight to Chicago! So make sure that you continue to keep us in your prayers. Some of the team has been hit with the stomach flu over the course of the last 4 days. That has made it tough. But, we have been sharing Christ with the locals and people that may not have ever heard the Gospel! Today we went to the hill where St. Thomas (doubting Thomas) preached and was killed! Last night most of the team went to the Orphanage in Chennai for one last time to bless the kids and play games with them! Norm was able to pray with the older boys of the home and encouraged them to be leaders and role models! It was an awesome moment! Many of the team wept!
The team is definately seeing the power of prayer in action...it has been UNBELIEVABLE!!!
God bless and see you soon!
