Financial Peace University (FPU) is again being offered at St. John’s.
FPU is a 13-week course that helps young and old alike gain a deeper understanding and develop practical personal financial management skills (like working out that budget and paying off those credit cards) taught in a Biblically based context. Classes meet once a week for 2 hours to view the video lesson, share ideas, and work on budgets.
Past FPU classes at St. John’s have included single adults, couples, retirees, members (and non-members alike). Yes - invite your friends - it’s a great way to invite people who might otherwise feel intimidated by a ‘church’ thing. Couples tell us they have learned more about each other, whether they’ve been married 5 years or 50 years. MOST importantly, you’ll develop deeper insight into the resource management wisdom God’s Word has to offer, work on application of that insight, and experience the support of fellow Christians facing the same challenges.
The cost of $90 per family includes all course materials. Tuition assistance is available. If you’d like more information now, or would like to speak to others who have attended FPU, please contact Steve Muther at 338-9435, or via e-mail at srmuther@yahoo.com
When handled incorrectly, money can become a source of pain and frustration.
But when Biblical financial principals are followed, freedom is enjoyed.
