The 8th-grade class thanks everyone who donated food and money to the Full Shelf Food Pantry. We collected over 372 canned and boxed goods and other food supplies. We really appreciate the help and support given by everyone. Our class would also like to thank Al Pauly for coming to our school to speak about the importance of the Full Shelf Food Pantry.
This mission experience taught our class how to be leaders and take action on a worldwide problem. This was a great opportunity that we got to be a part of, and we are all so thankful it went well. Our class described this event as a “great chance to serve” and “gives us the ability to help around our community. Being able to help people in our community makes the work be even more meaningful. We hope future classes will be able to help support more missions and the St. John’s community can continue helping people from all over.
