"Celebrating the Past"

We are fast approaching the finale of St. John's year of celebrating the 150th Anniversary.  This is an awesome reason for a party for sure...a major milestone for an organization.  The anniversary is no different than any other organization if we just look at the people and history of 150 years.  Our foundation is on Jesus Christ, which pulls us back to creation through the Word, to Jesus walking on this earth some 2,000 years ago.  With this foundation, St. John's celebration is different than other anniversaries.  It is celebrating the Christ who is behind us.  This same Christ is before us which draws us to the present and future plans for St. John's.
