Today we consider a pretty well known narrative from the Bible, David and Goliath, from 1 Samuel 17.  Listen in, read through 1 Samuel 17, and consider the following questions:

  1. Why was David able to defeat the giant Goliath?
  2. What words of David show that he gave God the glory for his victory over Goliath, rather than seeking praise for himself?
  3. What "giants" has Jesus overcome for you?  What "giants" has Jesus enabled you to overcome?
