With Him...
"With Jesus" means everything - with him through the suffering and loss all the way to the Father's glory. With Jesus, means sometimes more than his followers are comfortable experiencing. Peter had in mind "the things of man." Following Jesus means denying self for the gospel which is so personal that Paul calls it "my gospel." Yet, Christianity isn't personal in the way we so often think of personal. It's more about Him, His person, His cross. Being with Jesus means he leads - through suffering and loss to his Father's glory.
