Letter sent to missing members

St. Johns is growing in our discipleship in as many places as possible.  This is only possible through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, our Lord.  We are all about having this and other conversations out in the open so we can grow together as a family of faith.  The weekend of Jan. 22/23, we included this letter in all worship bulletins and read it aloud at every worship service.  The week of Jan. 24, the letter was mailed out to over 900 members of St. Johns for which we had no record of worshiping with us for over six months.  The letter is self-explanatory for why we have taken this step in communicating at this time.

Keep in mind these three points:

  1. This effort and conversation is completely focused on reconnecting with members who have been missing from the family gathering.
  2. Our records may be wrong, so please help us correct them if needed.
  3. This all communicated in the spirit of love and reconciliation that we all receive in faith from Jesus Christ.

Please do not hesitate to contact the pastors with any comments or questions after reading the letter.
