Jeff Dorth - Senior Pastor
Jeff sees the Lord’s love flowing everyday through the St. John’s staff, which he is privileged to lead. Serving as one of the St. John’s pastors, Jeff teaches, preaches, provides pastoral care and volunteers in the West Bend community. He also serves as the primary liaison to the St. John’s Leadership Board and President of the St. John’s West Bend Foundation.
Jeff and his wife, Mary, are blessed with four children and one son-in-law. Having travelled in all fifty states and numerous countries overseas, Jeff relaxes by shooting hoops with his children, splitting wood in the back yard, and going for walks. He also is passionate for the Chicago Cubs and enjoys the drive with his family to Wrigley Field to watch their favorite baseball team in action.

Jeff Hesse - Assistant Pastor, Administration
With the amazing support, commitment and professional work of leaders/staff, Pastor Hesse oversees Administration at St. John’s which includes the following ministries: Finance/HR, Missions, Junior & Senior High Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Care. In addition, Pastor Hesse is the Treasurer and on the Board of Directors for St. John’s West Bend Foundation, Inc. Pastor Hesse loves the Lord, His Word and His people. By the power of the Holy Spirit Pastor Hesse seeks to follow, teach and preach Jesus daily… in all of life… trusting in the love, forgiveness and eternal promises of God!
Pastor Hesse did not begin his professional life as a minister. He is a second-career pastor who started in the business world… in finance (banking, small business venture capital) and 17 years as an executive officer for a family of Milwaukee-based companies in the metalworking industry. Pastor Hesse loves to travel with his wife (Christine), hunt deer, fly-fish, fish for muskies and fish for the Lord!

Dave Kellerman - Assistant Pastor, Care Ministry
Pastor Dave enjoys life at St. John’s overseeing its care ministry. Care ministry extends well beyond hospital and shut-in visitations to include; congregational services, Bible study groups, fellowship groups, recreational groups, and service groups.
Pastor Dave has served Lutheran schools in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin as a teacher, coach, and school administrator. While he enjoyed his post-graduate schooldays, he really enjoys his current vocation of pastoral ministry.

David Nieman - Associate Pastor, Director of Young Adult and Family Ministries
David is a recent graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and is a brand new pastor at St. John's. He has entered into ministry by God's grace, and in partnership with the pastors, staff, and people of St. John's, with an emphasis on overseeing the care and support of the young adults and families of St. John's. You can find him at the school often, as he enjoys getting to spend time with all the students, families, and staff there.
David likes to get out and hike with his wonderful wife, Samantha. He's originally from New Mexico, so Wisconsin is new and exciting territory, . He likes trying different hot sauces, getting outdoors, playing guitar, building computers, and reading all sorts of writing. He hasn't quite figured out the whole "Packers thing," but it's exciting all the same.

Chris Bruskiewicz - Assistant Pastor
Chris serves as a part time Pastor working in care and worship ministries. He also leads liturgy on a regular basis and participates in other pastoral duties as needed.
Chris has the unique blessing of being able to maintain vocations in both the private sector as an Electrical Engineer and as a church worker at St. John’s.

Dawn Oldenettel - School Administrator
Dawn serves as our Elementary and Middle School Administrator. She works to nurture faithful disciples of Jesus Christ at all age levels. Dawn is in constant collaboration with our Early Childhood Center, and this partnership creates academic excellence and expectations for all of our classrooms. Dawn has a passion for developing Christian leaders who will be the next generations of leaders.
God has blessed Dawn and her husband, Rev Ron Oldenettel with a lifetime of service in His kingdom here on Earth. They both are grateful for God’s Will, and that He has placed them here at St. John’s. Dawn and Ron are proud parents of three children and five grandchildren.

Doug Raddemann - Director of Worship
The Director of Worship is responsible for all worship activities and ministry groups. At St. John’s, this includes over a hundred volunteers and multiple staff, leading and participating in various worship support, music, and audio/video teams. The wide reach of congregational involvement creates a great opportunity for collaboration and creativity within our work of discipleship. It is a great joy to see the gifts of God’s people at work in His service; strengthened and sent into His community.
Doug is a son of the congregation. In fact, both he and his wife grew up at St. John’s, met at youth group, married and have begun raising their kids here. Doug loves being a part of this community of believers and our mission together!
Apart from his time at church, his family loves staying active and outdoors. His wife and three young boys enjoy doing all the classic stuff- sports, hunting, fishing, camping, biking, etc. If you drive by their house, they will probably be outside; if you stop on by, they will offer you a cold drink and include you in the fun!

Nicole Janisse - Director of Children’s Ministry
As the Director of Children’s Ministries, Nicole manages and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of St. John’s Early Childhood Center (ECC). The ECC provides care for infants through Pre K, before and after school care, and summer camp for children 5 -12 years old. Additional ministries of oversight include Sunday morning Discipleship Hour for the children, Vacation Bible School, and Parent’s Night Out. In collaboration with other ministries, Nicole also assists in the coordination of a variety of community events which include our Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk and Treat and Saturday Play Dates.
Craig Toerpe - Director of Stewardship and Gifting
Craig represents a variety of ministries here at St. John’s. He oversees the financial crisis/education ministry, serves as team coordinator for Financial Peace University, and assists both members and non-members connect to a variety of West Bend social services; this includes St. John’s food pantry, referrals to the Full Shelf Food Pantry, and other programs sponsored through the United Way of Washington County. Craig serves as the point person for communication; managing the development and implementation of the website as well as The Connections, St. John’s weekly E-Newsletter.
Like many on staff, Craig has the heart of a teacher, and enjoys teaching Middle School Discipleship Class, leading a variety of Bible Studies and the Small Group which his family is a part of. Craig also serves as one of the coaches for St. John’s Softball Team 3 Screamin’ Eagles. Craig also provides guidance and programmatic oversight for the congregation's tithing, first fruit giving initiatives, estate planning as well as, oversees all fundraising activity on St. John’s campus. He serves as Secretary for both the St. John’s West Bend Foundation, as well as Living Word High School’s Foundation.
Craig has been blessed with a beautiful wife and four young children. In his free time, he enjoys running and competing in marathons, playing sports with his children, woodworking and reading.

Lori Yogerst - Business Manager
Lori is part of the Administration Ministry of St. John’s. As an accountant, her position responsibilities range from preparing financial reports recording tithes, offerings and special gifts. Lori also manages the Human Resource duties, as well as, provides oversight of printed materials and mailings for St. John’s. God has gifted Lori with the ability to accomplish the tasks that are necessary to achieve the vision of the Visionary.

Alan Lull, Lay Minister for Junior High and Missions
Alan serves as St. John’s Lay Minister of Junior High, as well as oversee our Missions Ministry. He has a desire to disciple youth and their families through all of life’s issues. He enjoys creating events that are a lot of fun, and yet God inspired. Alan has a heart for reaching the lost and developing servant leaders, regardless of age. He also oversees and plans local, domestic and international mission trips. Alan enjoys connecting with all of the families here at St. John’s.
Alan has been blessed to travel all over the world, and see God’s hand work in extraordinary ways, in the lives of people. He loves to laugh, bow hunt and hosting people at his home. Alan is gracious and thankful for his loving wife and two children.

Janet Hatland - Director of Campus Care
Janet oversees the maintenance and cleaning of all of St. John’s facilities. She also works with staff and volunteers to maintain our beautiful landscaping. Janet has a gift for managing volunteers and assists in the set-up and take down of Sunday morning Discipleship Hour, as well as any large events happening on campus.
Janet loves spending her free time with her family. She has been blessed with three wonderful children, two son-in-laws and three grandchildren. When not spending time with family, she enjoys sewing, quilting and studying God’s Word.

Rachel Morton - Assistant Director of Worship
Rachel oversees the writing of traditional worship services, directs the St. John’s choir, handbell choir, wind ensemble and serves as our principal organist. She also collaborates with St. John’s School in the development of weekly chapels and oversees the functions of our altar guild. Rachel’s passion in ministry lies in her desire to make the music of the church accessible and fulfilling for anyone wishing to participate. She enjoys helping people see themselves not only as artists, but also as carriers of God’s Word through song and music.
Rachel loves to write, and has the ambition to publish at least one book in her lifetime. When she is not serving the Lord in her duties, she can be found taking adventures with family and friends or enjoying a hot cup of coffee in her favorite lounge chair composing the perfect ending to her first book.
