“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28

St. John’s retreat ministry is an opportunity for various collections and generations of people to experience God’s gift of restoration through His Word, fun activities, and the people of God in life together. St. John’s offers four retreats throughout the calendar year. Our retreats seek to balance the time in study and worship as well as in recreation and activity. Each retreat gives ample opportunity for participants to benefit from applicable teaching and impactful connections made through the weekend. See below for a brief summary of each of the retreats and check our calendar and events page for more information as each approach.

Retreat Opportunities

Couples Retreat - Taking place in February, married couples are blessed by being in God’s Word with other couples of faith. Hosted at the Birchwood Lodge in Door County, the surrounding area provides many couple or group activities beyond the great teaching and worship sessions. click here to download the flyer and registration form.

Men’s Retreat - This retreat has always been hosted in May, but has recently moved to being hosted at Camp Luther in Three Lakes WI. The same great experience of God’s Word and tons of laughs and fun, is only complemented by great facilities and amazing destination. Be sure to check back for upcoming retreat information. For now, mark May 19-21 on you calendar for this year's retreat.

Family Retreat - There are numerous opportunities for families to retreat together during the summer. Having been hosted at both Camp Luther and Camp LuWiSoMo, this family focused retreat give parents and kids the great opportunity to connect in faith, dig into life’s questions, and encourage the work of discipleship in the home.

Women’s Retreat - Taking place in early November, this retreat is hosted in the Wisconsin Dells. Rotating to different resorts in the area brings a fresh experience of activity and ambiance, but a consistent blessing of connection and encouragement as women of faith.
