Members of our Leadership Board love hearing from the family of St. John’s, and they are hearing from more and more of you about Faith Haven and its utilization. In response, the Leadership Board is hosting a Congregation “Town Hall” Meeting in the school gymnasium at 9:30 AM on October 300.
Faith Haven is a 60 acre property located on the northwest side of West Bend, just off of Highway D, at 7622 Townline Road, West Bend, WI 53090. It is owned by St. John’s, is open to the public, and has some of the most beautifully kept hiking paths and nature trails. Some say it rivals some of our county parks. Throughout the grounds, there are also 26 boulders with Bible passages on them.
If you are looking to get away from the city, find a space to reflect and meditate, or just take in the glory of God’s creation, Faith Haven is the place to go. If you decide to go, please be aware that there are limited bathroom facilities.
Ultimately, the purpose of the “Town Hall” Meeting on Sunday is to start the conversation to determine God’s will for Faith Haven and its relationship to St. John’s. Please take the time to be at the meeting, learn more about the property, join the conversation, and be in prayer.
If you can’t make it to the meeting, take some time this fall and head out to Faith Haven to take in the colors while you still can. A link to the address for directions and a link to the trail map can be found under “Recreation”, or talk to any of the board members and let them know what you think.
