Have you ever considered how many “names” you go by? Each of us has a given name (first, middle, last…), but what about a nickname? A specific job title? A prefix or suffix? Maybe someone calls you “mom” or “dad” or “grandma” or “grandpa”? Does this mean that you are more than one person? Of course not! In the same way, God is one God, yet His identity is defined through three persons. “And the Christian faith is this: that we worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity, neither confusing the persons nor dividing the substance.” (The Athanasian Creed) It is good to be together in the Lord: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
